Pre-Election Sales Rush?
1 Attachment(s)
I went to a couple of the local gun stores looking for a spare Glock 19 and noticed that they are out and have been out for some time. Other makes and models appear to be missing as well. Anyway, I just grabbed three Hi Point's since I was there. Not a bad cheap 9mm for the money ($115 each in this case) and they will join the PAW stack of other Hi Points. Can't beat the lifetime warranty either. Clearly not as nice as my Glocks, H&Ks, etc., but it's no Lorcin (Standard Arms), Cobra, Jennings, etc. either. Nice thing is there's no waiting period for any firearm here. Heck, we are even a "full auto friendly state" - for $200 and a smile at the Sheriff's receptionist it is a very "full auto friendly" state. I can even legally pass along my full auto firearms to my hiers.
Anyway, I will be grabbing more firearms and ammo before the Communist Obama regime begins to assume power this Fall and begin four years of occupation. I figure that this phenomena of gun store shoppers rushing to in to acquire guns and ammo ahead of the regime change will only accelerate. So, the question is, does anyone else notice these changes in gun shopping behavior elsewhere? On a side - anyone else favor these cheap but durable Hi Points beside me? |
Re: Pre-Election Sales Rush?
I'll tell you what I noticed yesterday...
I was in a pinch to find a local FFL transfer agent that I didnt have to drive far to. I did a little looking online and the closest was a pawn shop not far from my office. ( I hate pawn shops--nasty seedy places) Walked in to get my paperwork and here's these 2 thugs picking up their firearms. - a .44 mag Desert Eagle and a Romy AK. and I mean they were thugs-- big gold - doo rags-- gang colors and tats-- and droopy drawers. I got a first hand picture of an enemy combatant WTSHTF. yeah-- guns are flying off the shelves right now. that DE was pretty bad ass though - I must confess. |
